Jadwiga of Anjou, Queen of Poland
1384-99 Jadwiga was a mere 11 years old when she was made Queen of Poland AND betrothed to Jogaila, Grand Duke of Lithuania. Her engagement from birth to Wilhelm von Habsburg, Prince of Austria, was cancelled. Jadwiga spent her short life ministering to the poor. She and Jogaila were childless.
